On Sunday, October 1st we will celebrate the Solemnity of St. Michael the Archangel. The Mass of St. Michael will replace the 18th Sunday after Pentecost since he is our titular patron.

All parents are responsible for preparing their children for First Communion and Confirmation. The book that Fr. Reid recommend is Baltimore Catechism.  Converts or reverts, please see Fr. Reid.

This October 15th will be have a Fall Raffle & Potluck. Donations for the raffle are appreciated. Please considering donating a talent you have like photography, baby sitting, handyman; etc. If you care to participate, call Linda Rishel 760 899-6070. Update information will be posted on the Bulletin Board.

Fr. Reid is looking for a lay catechist who would be willing to give instructions in the faith to prospective converts. One must have solid and experienced knowledge of the faith. Please see Father Reid directly if you are willing to be involved in this important apostolate.

There is a sign up sheet in the coffee room for those in need of Confirmation this Year.

There will be a book and clothes exchange on Saturday October 28th, many of you have good books that you’ve read and no longer need, as well as children’s clothes or maternity clothes that are in good or fairly good condition and you’d like to pass it on to a parishioner rather than the salvation

Ther will be a Poker Night on September 9th. It will start at 5:00 pm and all are welcome. it will be a $20 buy-in per player and participants should bring an appetizer & desired beverage. It will be a fun night & a great way to meet others. Please see or call Jason Rishel
